    • I couldn’t agree more, Hazel. He wasn’t with Kent for very long but he was certainly very popular with the fans. I always remember him, too, playing in a Pro40 game here in 2007. He dropped a dolly on the boundary, was sledged mercilessly for the rest of the match (which he took extremely good humouredly) & then had the last laugh when tasked with bowling the last over. Ryan McLaren was in the 70s & going at more than a run a ball, so we were all hopeful of victory as we only needed something like 8, yet Somerset won by 2 runs. Great match. Top effort & top bloke is exactly right!
